Boy I really do not like the use of the word 'deliver'! That is one way to smuggle gold I suppose. Although that seems to be the most used way to smuggle things so you'd think everyone would try and find someplace else.

The wild thing is that they had enough gold even western gangsters would be happy to kill them for it but I'm sure they are getting paid peanuts. I all of this also happens with drugs, but that is totally not part of my world.

I agree that customs is evil. One of the best examples of how power corrupts. These people aren't protecting anything they are just bulliying regular people through intimidation and embarresment. And don't get me started on the harrasment of women/the elderly/ kids. I hate cutoms. Also yeah the drugs thing is scary as it is about a millions times more harmful to the carriers, or mules as they call them in the biz.

Bureaucrats generally have one or two functions in which they can play god. They are otherwise completely powerless losers. Therefore, they jack people around as best they can when they have the chance.
The TSA are the terrorist sexual assailants. They exist so that foreign terrorists give up because they realize that there is no way they could possibly compete. We porn scan and grope our own women and children. The Taliban simply doesn't have the budget do this kind of thing nationwide.
Hahahahaha! That is hilarious!....And depressing! Canada is also getting super retared about stuff like proper content and such. If you buy and own a manga IN CANADA it might be legal. But if you try to transport the same content across the border. It could be deemed innappropriate or something and land you in jail. There have been some crazy cases recently.

yeah, thankfully ive enver been stopped by sustoms for anything.... in fact I used to wear the old tripp pants with the real metal on them, JUST to piss off the people at the airport with metal detectors :p (I was an evil teenager). If anyone ever tried to grope me..... I put up with that **** as a kid WITHOUT customs, they can throw me in jail for assault if they want but I'm punching someone. XD that, or if I'm in a good mood shout (unnecessarily loudly) "At LEAST buy me dinner first!"
Despite it, however I do still want to visit Europe XD it's always been a dream of mine. I suppose it's all a matter of how badly you want to go someplace else.

My mother has a theory about the best way to deal with airport security, and it goes like this: You have a whole bunch of people opt out of the porn scans, but act they act really turned on when they get the pat down.

I think the best way to deal with telemarketers is to tell them "please send me your literature." Tell them that you cannot commit to anything over the phone, and that you need a copy of their literature. If they say they can't, ask to speak to a supervisor. If they want your address, tell them that they can do a reverse lookup on your phone number.
I do not think the conversation will last very long. I've done phone work. The only thing these people care about are completions. The only way to get completions is to just keep dialing. If they think you are jacking them around and wasting their time, they will move on. If they call back, just say that you have already spoken to someone about this.
I thought it was great fun, but these things are highly subjective. Your mileage may vary.
I'd love to talk to a debt collector. Unfortunately, I don't have any debt to collect. Nobody can force you to answer any question over the phone. You have no idea who you are talking to. They also have no idea who they are talking to. "Yeah, when I said I was (whoever you asked for), I lied. But, thank you for the information, Mr. Debt Colletor, sir.
